Hey fellow adventurer
welcome at our Travel Guide for South America that helps you to enjoy your trip even more. Here you can find some general information about the different countries, various guides and hints from package lists to bargain advice. Also we have written down some of our adventures to inspire you. If you just wanna take a look we recommend the gallery, we put a few of our best photos there. About us… we are two fellow Austrians who travelled and lived in South America for sometime.
Thomas somewhere in the Amazon
Thomas stranded at first in Valparaíso (Chile) for an exchange semester. Later he worked as an intern at CIAT (www.ciat.cgiar.org) in Cali (Colombia) for seven months.
Besides these two official missions extensive travelling made up his days. In total he spent about one and a half year in many countries of South America.
Bernhard in San Pedro de Atacama (Chile)
Bernhard visited South America two times for 3 months. He spent several weeks in different cities (Trujillo, Arequipa, Sucre, Cordoba), thus he knows some of these places pretty well. Additionally, he tried various different Spanish classes. Besides backpacking and language classes, he did an internship and worked as a “barmanager” in a youth hostel.
